Tuition Remission
Full tuition remission ($49,024)
Dependent Health Insurance Coverage
The University offers health insurance plans that cover dependents, providing family-friendly health insurance coverage.
Fees
Facilities fee, Columbia Health & Related Services Fee, ISSO fee for international students, upgraded printing fee, and gym access fee are covered.
Health Insurance Benefits
Premium costs for the Columbia Student Insurance Plan are covered.
Stipend/Compensation
Five years of funding including summer salary or summer stipend ($35,140-$41,928).
Parental Accommodation and Childcare Benefits
Suspension of all academic requirements and responsibilities for a twelve-week period without loss of funding. $2,000 subsidy per year for each child who is under the age of five and not attending kindergarten. $5,000 one-time adoption assistance benefit.
Housing
Guaranteed university housing for five years. This housing policy is best among our peers on two dimensions: some peers don't guarantee more than one year, and students may view housing before choosing where to live. Read more about available apartments.
